How APAP Works
We take the hassle & worry out of applying for prescription assistance
Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies can be complicated and involve a burdensome amount of paperwork, filings, and re-filings. APAP takes the hassle out of the process. Here is how our simple program works.
1. APAP determines your general eligibility in the program
2. APAP assists in completing the enrollment package
3. APAP confirms covered medications
4. APAP completes, submits, and tracks physician documents
5. APAP submits application(s) to each pharmaceutical company
6. Medications are shipped directly to your home (or to your Doctor's office)
What is the Cost?
The cost to participate in APAP is only $82 per month with a one-time $25 sign-up fee. If you meet the eligibility requirements, and are an AmeriPlan Member, you may sign-up for this program by completing the simple online application. Once your application is submitted you will be contacted by a Prescription Advocate Specialist within 7 business days who will establish your eligibility, review your medications and get you started on the program. There is a one-time, non refundable, pre-qualification fee of $25.00 and, once qualified, a monthly advocate service fee of $82 per month.…total due with your application, $107. Once qualified, the $82 monthly service fee will be deducted each month either by bank draft or charged to your credit card (If you do not meet the eligibility requirements after speaking with a Prescription Advocate Specialist you will still be charge the one-time, $25 sign-up fee).

It takes 6-8 weeks while your applications are being submitted and processed with each pharmaceutical company's Patient Assistant Program (PAP) before you will begin receiving your first order of prescriptions (generally a 90-day supply). Also, please understand, you pay a set monthly service fee for this advocacy regardless of the number of medications you're receiving.

Finally, patient advocacy is an ongoing procedure, and, as your advocate, APAP does everything necessary to ensure that you continue to receive your medications on-time and uninterrupted.
It's as easy as that! APAP ensures the continued supply of the medications you need.
