About Patient Assistance Drug Programs
It started with good intentions …
Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) offered through the pharmaceutical industry were designed to assist low income individuals who have no prescription drug coverage. PAPs have been in existence for the past 15-20 years.

Individuals who met the eligibility criteria and did not have prescription drug coverage could receive free medications from the pharmaceutical companies shipped directly to their home or doctor's office.
But there was a problem …
The paperwork and application process was so complicated and required constant re-application. Additionally, pharmaceutical company required separate forms for each medication. Complicating the process further, each doctor would need to be contacted for signatures authorizing each medication.

This process was complicated and overwhelming for most individuals.
APAP bridges the gap and provides a solution …
The AmeriPlan Prescription Advocacy Program (APAP) was created for the primary purpose of helping you, and the millions of others facing financial challenges access Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) and assist eligible individuals who cannot afford their prescription medications.

We provide an easy, affordable solution to obtaining costly prescription medication. Our low-cost and hassle-free program is designed to help you take advantage of the free medications offered by pharmaceutical companies.

APAP completes, submits, and tracks all of the required forms and applications. Forget the hassle of filling out forms and stop worrying about interruptions in drug coverage.

If your medications are not on our approved list of medications available through PAP's, our qualified staff will assist you and your doctor to find other prescriptions which may be just as effective that are on our approved list.
